We are a landscape and urban design consultancy based in Fremantle, WA servicing public and private sector clients through a collaborative network of experienced design professionals. Julian Croudace leads Propagule’s collaborations with over 20 years of professional experience integrating environmental management with landscape architecture to implement creative and innovative design solutions across complex Australian conditions.

Our passion for the Australian landscape and culture has proven appropriate to a wide variety of large scale urban design and environmentally sustainable projects from inception through to completion and is recognised through many awards received at state, national and international levels.

Our core philosophy in practising landscape architecture is to contribute to a diverse range of communities through close collaboration, active participation and effective communication.

Background

With over 20 years of professional experience in NSW, Victoria and WA, Julian has concentrated on integrating environmental management with landscape architecture to implement creative and innovative design solutions across complex natural systems. This core focus has proven appropriate to a wide variety of large scale urban design and environmentally sustainable projects from inception through to completion. His collaborations are recognised through many awards received at state, national and international levels. 

Julian’s commitment to the profession through mentoring and the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) includes National Accreditation Review Panel membership, Co-institutional advisory role to Dept of Treasury (BMW), Convener of the WA Registration Panel and past Secretary and Vice President of the WA chapter of AILA.

Julian’s core philosophy in practicing landscape architecture is to contribute to a diverse range of communities through close collaboration, active participation and effective communication. His goal in every project, regardless of scale or scope, is to deliver creative, timeless and holistically integrated solutions.
